SEABASED COMMERCIAL WAVE POWER PROJECTS
As a Blue Energy Company, Seabased is advancing a growing portfolio of wave power projects with governments and utilities in island and coastal markets around the world. Each project is designed to deliver clean, stable electricity from local ocean resources—strengthening energy security and supporting long-term sustainability.
Seabased and the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC) signed an MOU for a 10+MW wave power park that will serve as input to BIDC’s planned green hydrogen facility.
The Government of Bermuda and Seabased have signed an MOU and identified a site for the wave park. The EIA is in its final stages of approval; and Seabased in the process of applying for the new innovative license.
Seabased and its local partner SEEN are building a 50MW wave power park in Martinique. The site is agreed, site surveys are conducted, and we are working on the connection agreement.
At COP29 in 2024, Seabased signed a three-way MOU with the Government of Grenada and SIDS DOCK to develop a 10+MW wave power park off Grenada’s east coast.
